University, or a two-hour drive from The Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve. The new buildings, seen

above, serve as the dry-land home base for visiting units. From there, the water becomes a Scouting playground with these activities:

f fWakeboarding, waterskiing, and motorboating to get the adrenaline flowing.

f fKayaking or piloting an Olympic-style rowboat for when it’s time to slow down.

ffScuba certification for Scouts who prefer underwater fun.

Most of the activities are for

adults and Venturing-age youth, so make sure your guys and girls meet the camp’s and the BSA’s requirements before planning a trip. Once you’re ready, find more details at brmcreservation.org/ summer_camp.htm. ¿
